Assessment of complete abortion Please consider your gestational age against the following information and observe/check what you find on the sanitary napkins.

If these details are complete according to the gestational age means complete abortion

  1. bleeding
  2. A piece of meat came out
  3. There is an embryo
  4. having a placenta

Gestational age 4-6 weeks
a piece of tissue came out It will be found at 4 weeks of pregnancy because there will be no embryo yet. And the embryo is very small in the gestational age of about 6 weeks.

Gestational age 8-9 weeks
There will be a bag of amniotic fluid coming out. Which inside consists of a piece of meat, a placenta and an embryo (like a fish belly or fish intestines)

Gestational age 10-12 weeks
The amniotic sac, biopsy, embryo and placenta will come out.

Symptoms to watch out for

  • fever, chills consecutively for more than 24 hours
  • Abdominal pain until unable to do daily activities as usual
  • White discharge with an unusual foul odor
  • abnormally profuse bleeding
